1. About CopyCove
CopyCove is a temporary text-sharing service designed to make it easy to transfer text between computers and other devices.
2. Temporary storage
Pads are temporary and are automatically deleted approximately 10 days after their most recent successful edit.
CopyCove should not be relied upon as permanent storage or as the only copy of important data. Deleted or expired content may not be recoverable.
3. Administrator access
CopyCove is not a private, end-to-end encrypted storage service.
An authorised CopyCove administrator may view stored pad content where reasonably necessary for moderation, abuse prevention, security, troubleshooting or operation of the service.
4. Prohibited content
CopyCove must not be used to store or distribute unlawful, pornographic, sexually explicit, exploitative, abusive, threatening, malicious or otherwise harmful material.
Content involving the sexual exploitation or abuse of children is strictly prohibited.
CopyCove may automatically reject certain pad names, words or phrases in order to reduce abuse of the service.
5. Misuse of the service
You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to another person's pad, bypass access controls, interfere with CopyCove, overload the service, distribute malware or otherwise misuse the service or its infrastructure.
CopyCove may use automated security and anti-abuse measures, including rate limiting and human-verification services, to protect the service from automated or abusive use.
You must not deliberately attempt to bypass, defeat or interfere with these security or anti-abuse measures.
6. Sensitive information
CopyCove should not be used for passwords, authentication secrets, private cryptographic keys, financial information, highly confidential information or other information requiring secure long-term storage.
7. Moderation and removal
Pads may be blocked or deleted where reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, respond to abuse, protect the service or comply with legal obligations.
Automated filtering is intended as an additional safeguard and may not identify every form of prohibited content.
8. Availability and pad creation
CopyCove is provided on an as-available basis. Continuous availability, storage, retention or recovery of information is not guaranteed.
The availability of new pad creation may change from time to time. CopyCove may allow public pad creation, require a creation code, or temporarily disable the creation of new pads.
CopyCove may restrict or suspend access to features where reasonably necessary for security, maintenance, moderation or abuse prevention.
9. Third-party security services
CopyCove may use third-party infrastructure and security services, including Cloudflare, to provide secure connectivity, protect the service and help distinguish legitimate users from automated or abusive traffic.

10. Privacy

11. Acceptance
By creating a pad and selecting the acceptance checkbox, you confirm that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and acknowledge the Privacy Notice.
